Trying to catch up

I haven't blogged in forever and have really been missing it. We have had a crazy couple of weeks. This year we decided to have Thanksgiving at our house. We had all of Trevor's family and my parents and Grandma Gloria. So, 13 adults and 7 kids later we had a house beaming with life! I was so nervous to cook a turkey, but I actually did it, and it didn't taste too bad either. I love Thanksgiving, mostly because I love good food and family to go with it. It was a good day. The day after Thanksgiving, we took Keyton to the Christmas light parade in old town and it was really fun. He loves any excuse to get to see a fire truck. The next night we were going to go to the BUY-ISU basketball game but Trevor started to get a fever. Of course, he got the stomach flu and threw up that night. Yuck. As we started getting him to feel better and thinking me and Keyton had avoided it, you know what happens... I got the stomach flu too. I had forgotten how bad that sucks! And house and home falls apart when mom is sick. We are still trying to recover!!! Hope you all had a happy Turkey Day!

I'm so sorry you got the flu. I had a horrible cold and the stomach flu at the same time. It was horrible. I am finally starting to feel better.
That is awesome that you cooked a turkey! I'm glad it turned out good for you.

I'm so sorry you all got so sick. That is so sad. I hate when I get sick, because you are right, some how everything seems to fall apart. I hope you are all finally feeling better and getting life back to normal. I am way excited for Christmas this year and to see how Leah reacts. She is going to have so much fun. I kinda feel like it's her first Christmas even though we had her at this time last year, I finally think she is old enough to get it so it just seems like her first real Christmas. I bet Christmas with Keyton is a blast. I can only imagine that cute little boy getting so excited over every little thing.

Hope you guys have a great Christmas. If you have time, and want to get together, call us sometime. Talk to you later

That is a huge feat to take on! It's one thing if it is one family, but not both sides! Great job. So sorry you had the flu, I pray I don't get it this year. Hey, I've been meaning to call, but we have been so busy with moving. Did you say you had a pack-n-play we could borrow when we are there for Christmas? Let me know. We are flying and we need to borrow one. Jeff's parents have one. Talk to you soon.

I'm sorry you got sick, that's the worst!! Keyton avoided it though right? It's even worse having a sick kid! I hate it when I'm behind with house work too, but it seems like I always am, even when I'm not sick!! Good luck getting things put back together!
