This last weekend was really fun. Trevor had his monthly drill, but it was family day on Saturday. That morning the general flew down in a Blackhawk and gave out an award. So, then they let everybody check out the helicopter. Keyton thought it was the greatest thing ever. He got to sit in it and everything. Then he got to do the blow up obstacle course. They had all the tanks and trucks there for people to look at and sit in. I just love to see his face light up when he sees anything to do with the Army. He is just mesmerized by it. He loved getting in the tank that is just like the one Trevor drives. Then right when we were ready to go we heard the helicopter was going to take off. We got to sit about 50 yards away and watch it take off. Keyton couldn't take his eyes off of it. There is nothing better for a mom than to watch her child fall in love with the same thing his dad is in love with. It was soo fun.

That has to be every little boy's dream to hang out on a cool helicopter. Keyton looks so cute. Just thought I'd let you know that we may be coming home for the elk hunt in Oct. Not sure what the dates are yet, but we did draw out on the hunt. I'll let you know when we know for sure. It should be like the middle of Oct.

Yeah, we have had a pretty busy summer, but it has been tons of fun! It looks like you guys have had quite the summer as well. We will have to get together so that Trevor and Jesse can hang out. Do you still go to th gym? We were never able to cancel our membership, and I am not working any more, so we should all go work out sometime again.
