This month me and Trevor got to do something that Trevor has been wanting to do for a very long time. Since we have been married he has talked about taking me backpacking in Escalante. So we finally planned a trip with his friend John Hart and his wife Randi. It was so amazingly beautiful. We did 2 slot canyons on the first day, then we went down into Escalante canyon. It was amazing down there. We had to lower our packs down this huge cliff and then walk through this crack in the wall to get down to the river. Then you just hike up the river for a few miles. When you are hiking there is like 800 ft cliffs above you on both sides. Pictures and words do not give it any sort of justice. I had a blast there and hope to go again sometime. We were gone for 4 days and that was really hard on both mom and Keyton. Now everytime I leave him alone he cries but I guess that just means he missed me and loves me. That looked like the best hike ever! It is so beautiful. I'm so glad you guys got to go. Lucky you have your mom close so you can leave Keyton and enjoy some hubby and friend time. Wish we could to that! Talk to you later.
